At Christ Not Culture, our mission is simple yet powerful: to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equip people with the Word of God. We believe that true hope and transformation are found in Christ—not in the fleeting trends of culture.
Jayden McKay:
Charlie Kirk passed away on September 10, 2025. I watched him regularly and deeplyd admired the work he did, so his death had a significant impact on me.
On September 13th, while driving to church, I saw a man on the corner of Barnes and Powers holding a sign that said, “R.I.P. Charlie Kirk.” Seeing someone boldly stand for what he believed in—especially in Colorado Springs—really encouraged me.
Later that night during the church service, the Holy Spirit placed a question on my heart: “Why aren’t we doing things like that for God?” That thought kept pressing on me. After the service, I shared the idea with my mom and my close friend, Cody Blaise. They were a little unsure at first—and Cody later admitted he thought I meant more political signs—which is why he didn’t seem fully on board.
That night I began thinking about what to call this new effort and landed on Christ Not Culture. Our culture often chooses against Christ, but as Christians, we must be the light and choose Him.
Later that week, I bought some poster boards from Walmart, and Sophie and I started working on the signs. On September 21st, three friends joined me—Matt Thomasson, Josh Clayton, and my little brother, Jax McKay. We stood out there for about three hours, and we were thrilled to give out four Bibles. We were incredibly thankful and overjoyed. Yes, some people were unhappy with what we were doing, but even more people encouraged us.
The following Saturday, I went out by myself for three and a half hours—with nothing but a “Free Bible” sign and the Holy Spirit. That day alone, by the grace of Jesus, I was able to give out 25 Bibles. I was overwhelmed with gratitude.
The next day, Sunday, seven of us went out, and we were able to give out 35 Bibles. Everyone was encouraged and eager to keep moving forward.
Since then, we’ve expanded into doing street interviews that lead people toward Christ, and we’ve had many meaningful conversations. We’re committed to continuing this mission and walking out the calling of Mark 16:15.
Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13
What We Believe
We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only true God.
We believe in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority, above any other religious text.
We believe that Jesus came to earth, died for our sins, and rose again on the third day.
We believe in the promise of the rapture and the return of Christ.
We believe that abortion is evil and contrary to God’s design for life.
We believe that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ—repenting from sin and becoming a new creation in Him.
We believe that we are called to go into the world and make disciples of all nations.
